Lisa Ventura is the Communications Manager at the UK Cyber Security Council, the charitable self-regulatory body, and voice for, the UK cyber security profession funded by DCMS and the Cabinet Office.

The UK Cyber Security Council is the self-regulatory body for the UK’s cyber security profession. It develops, promotes and stewards nationally recognised standards for cyber security in support of the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.

Using her strong expertise in the cyber security industry, Lisa works on a variety of different communcations campaigns at the UK Cyber Security Council to promote the work that the Council is doing in the following areas: 

  • Standards and Ethics
  • Careers and learning
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Cyber security thought leadership

Lisa also works on a series of events to raise awareness of the Council including a set of virtual roadshows in the devolved nations and England in line with the goverment’s current consultation into standards and pathways in cyber security.
