Lisa Ventura is delighted to announce that she has been named a finalist in the Cyber Security Women of the Year Awards organised by Inteligenca in the “Cyber Security Supporter of Women” category. The winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony on Monday 5 August 2019 at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, USA.

Inteligenca created the “Women in Cyber Security” awards out of the importance for women in the industry to be recognised as much as it’s important for women to develop a community of peers who share common experiences. A new generation of cyber defenders needs to have strong role models to follow, and Ineligenca believes that those who already contribute to the greater good of us all should be must elevated and highlighted for their achievements.

Inteligenca wanted to create an environment where they salute the people who fight back and the women who’ve jumped into the fight to protect organizations and society. They want to show their appreciation for those people doing good things in the security space, which is the ethos behind the awards.
