Lisa Ventura is extremely humbled, proud and honoured to announce that she is the winner of the “Cyber Security Personality of the Year” category in this year’s Cyber Security Awards. The glittering awards ceremony took place on Thursday 4th July 2019 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Victoria, London.

The “Personality of the Year” award category was sponsored by Cyber Talks, and Lisa was proud to stand alongside other key cyber security leading professionals in the UK. Lisa took home this prestigious award for her pioneering work as CEO & Founder of the UK Cyber Security Association and her contribution to the cyber security industry as a writer/blogger and thought leader.

The Cyber Security Awards were established in 2014, to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry. Excellence and innovation are their core themes, throughout all categories. A totally independent event, they have no affiliation to any magazines, organisations, or products. As a result, their judges are able to make all their decisions on merit alone.

The Cyber Security Awards team, reviews the industry, looking for the best possible applicants, and each entrant this year was considered by the judges against a range of criteria. Every finalist demonstrated to the judges that they are top of the game in cyber security and demonstrated the core themes of the awards – innovation and excellence. For that alone Lisa is proud and humbled to win the “Cyber Security Personality of the Year” category.
