In my role as the Chief Executive and Founder of the AI and Cyber Security Association (AICSA), I’ve channelled my deep expertise in both AI and cyber security to create the world’s first global trade association dedicated to their convergence. I’m on a mission to empower a community of innovators, policymakers, and professionals to build safer, ethical, and more resilient digital futures.

The AICSA is at the cutting edge of a fast-evolving frontier where AI and cyber security collide. As a global membership body, we unite stakeholders across industry, academia, and government to shape policy, set standards, and advocate for safe and effective AI‑powered cyber resilience.

My leadership focuses on forging collaboration between diverse sectors to develop frameworks that align with our mission of ethical, innovative, and resilient AI usage in defending digital systems. We bring thought leadership, policy influence, and training together in one powerful association.

Strategic Leadership & Purpose

I spearhead all strategic directions from thought leadership and standards setting to policy advocacy and professional development. I work side by side with members and partners to ensure AICSA is the go-to authority for trusted, secure AI in cyber security.

Key Focus Areas:

• Thought Leadership & Research – Publishing influential reports like our “State of AI in Cyber Security” and “AI Risk Barometer” to inform and influence the industry.
• Policy & Standards Advocacy – Engaging with UK, EU, and global regulators to drive robust frameworks and ethical codes.
• Professional Development – Developing accredited training, certifications, and leadership programs to empower future-focused professionals.
• Community Building – Fostering a global, inclusive network of practitioners, academics, and regulators who share the common goal of securing AI systems.

Why This Association Is Needed

My leadership arises from recognising that AI innovation and cyber threats are evolving hand in hand, and so must our response. By unifying voices from diverse geographies and sectors around ethical standards and resilience, the AICSA embodies the kind of cross-disciplinary synergy that today’s digital environment demands.

Progress So Far

Since launch we’ve:

• Established AISEC.org.uk as the central hub for collaboration, insight sharing, and advocacy.
• Delivered our inaugural launch webinar, introducing AICSA’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities to a global audience.
• Opened individual membership, priced at £200/year for professionals (free for students), offering access to research, events, policy-shaping opportunities, networking, and member discounts.
• Launched our corporate, enterprise, and strategic partner membership tiers, opening the door to wider organisational collaboration.
